About Us

Christ in the Community is a Non-Profit Community Interest Company dedicated to serving and enhancing the well-being of our community. Our mission is to work in partnership with churches to address the needs of community members experiencing indigence. Through our pilot project, we aim to provide nutritious breakfast and lunch meals at schools in Jamaica with a significant number of students living in extreme poverty. This initiative will enable children to attend school every day and stay alert during the school day.

We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to get an education, regardless of their socio-economic background. Your donation will help us transform young lives in Jamaica by providing them with the tools they need to succeed. With your support, we can make a profound impact on the young lives in Jamaica, offering them an equal opportunity for primary education, irrespective of their socio-economic background. Together, let us empower these children and transform their futures!

We belong

Our name means we collectively represent Christ within our communities. We are the hands and feet of Christ in the communities of Jamaica, regardless of whatever position we may hold. Our organisation work in partnership with churches in Jamaica to support the communities in which they are based. This is by supporting and creating opportunities for residents of low socio-economic background within that community. We are especially interested in supporting children and families which are at a disadvantage, as we believe stronger families build stronger communities.
