Back-to-school supplies are a significant help for parents, children and our school

Christ in the Community has been doing an amazing job with outreach at Beulah All-Age School in Clarendon, Jamaica. Since its inception, the level of sharing and caring that this organization has delivered is unmatched.

In August 2022, Christ in the Community donated notebook, school bags with school supplies to over 200 students at Beulah All Age School and the Community of new Longville (and surrounding areas). In addition to the school supplies, the children were treated to rides, entertainment and lunch. It was a beautiful day for all in attendance.

The organization further went on to sponsor a part of  Boys’ Day Activities in May 2023. This saw over seventy-five boys from grades four, five and six receiving a souvenir in the form of a dog tags.

The organizer of Christ in the community continues to spread love and share with the school and community and this year was no different. Christ in the Community has put on another back-to-school treat and Funday at Beulah All Age School. Scores of students benefitted from school bags, with notebooks, pencil, eraser and sharpener.

The day progressed with all the students and parents fully fed and entertained for the day. Students were able to enjoy the various rides. Less than a month later, in September, the students of Beulah benefited from a donation of toothpaste, toothbrushes and dental floss. These items were packaged and distributed to ALL students and staff at Beulah All Age and Infant School.

Galatians 6:9 states, “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up” I know that this must be something ordained by God and that you are executing on the father’s behalf.

The Back-to-school supplies are a significant help for the parents children, and our school. As they take a part of the financial burden off their hands. The children are grateful for your generosity and efforts to alleviate the constraint that some families are in. I know how favourable this outreach is and I would like to express my gratitude on behalf of all the beneficiaries. We are indeed the hands and feet of Christ. Special thanks to all the groups and individuals who assisted with making Christ in the Community an organization that show God’s love daily.

Continue to lift others. Continue to touch lives. Continue to be that vessel through which God’s beauty is spread.
